'Exclusive by Getty Images' Delivers Premium Access to Distinctive Celebrity and Editorial Imagery

Magazine and Newspaper Publishers Gain Access to Unique Celebrity Portraiture, Reportage Features, and Editorial Specials from World-Class Photographers

Getty Images, Inc. (NYSE: GYI), the world's leading imagery creator and distributor, today launched 'Exclusive by Getty Images,' a premier online solution for magazine and newspaper customers seeking to differentiate their publications with highly distinctive imagery not available anywhere else. All content is conveniently located in one place at gettyimages.com/exclusive, simplifying the process of securing global and territorial rights to premium celebrity portraits, celebrity portrait archives, reportage features and editorial specials.

Created by a growing network of elite photographers including international celebrity shooter Lorenzo Agius, renowned photojournalist Tom Stoddart and Pulitzer Prize-winner David Turnley, Exclusive imagery is carefully produced and edited to meet specific customer needs. Photographers are provided maximum opportunities for exposure and revenues, benefiting from Getty Images' highly targeted sales approach and secure platform.

"Tom Stoddart is at the forefront of committed photojournalists hugely respected by those who work with him," said Graham Wood, director of photography, The Times Magazine. "He consistently puts his subjects' interests before his own as he travels the world witnessing and recording history unfold before him. We are thrilled to now have greater access to his outstanding material, on an exclusive basis, through Getty Images."

Recent Exclusive celebrity portraiture includes Madonna, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Gwen Stefani, while reportage features have focused on topics such as the disposal of unsecured munitions and ordinance in Iraq, and the effects of urbanization on the Asian Elephant.

"The positive industry response to our editorial business affords us the opportunity to offer this completely new product," said Steve Blogg, director of photography, editorial contributors, EMEA. "Providing highly creative exclusive content is one more way we can help our customers differentiate their publications and do their best work."

In addition to Blogg, Exclusive is being managed by industry veterans Nick Bull, director of photography, celebrity portraiture, and David Laidler, director of photography, editorial contributors, Americas.
